Be held by the supportive connection of other women in this 8-week online group for those looking to explore elements of the whole self, after the release of a longterm relationship. 

Through sharing and the arts - visual arts, journaling, movement - we will take a look at the elements that contribute to a whole and healthy self. Elements such as self-compassion, self-worth, self-validation, and boundaries.

Absolutely no art experience is necessary – this is NOT an art class. 

This program is facilitated by

Numila Parker, Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), master’s degree in social work and a BA in psychology.

Renata Chubb, expressive arts therapist (qualifying).

Expressive Arts Therapy is an arts-based approach to self inquiry that engages and supports individuals through a process of creative expression helping them reconnect and trust their own internal resources. In an Expressive Arts Therapy session a client may explore their concerns through visual arts, creative writing, drama, music, voice and movement as catalysts for personal inquiry, discovery and growth.

Any and all art supplies that you have available

sketchbook or notebook

pencil + eraser

sheets of paper to hold paint

playdough

comfortable clothing

an open and adventurous mind

Above all else session environments will be a safe, non-judgemental space to explore, and express.
