Rooted & Radiant From People Pleaser to Powerful Self
Reclaiming yourself through art and the body
If you’ve spent years tending to everyone else, smoothing, managing, shaping yourself to keep things steady, this space is for you. Rooted & Radiant is a 12-week journey guided by art-making and somatic practice. Together, we gently unravel the patterns of over-giving and people-pleasing, and begin the work of returning to yourself.
We’ll move through the conditioning, the expectations, the guilt, and the constant efforting –the unseen weight of being the one who holds it all, yet feels unrecognized. Not by pushing harder, but by listening more deeply.
This is not the quest to become someone new. This is embodying your fullest self.
This space may be for you if:
-
You feel tired in a way that rest alone doesn’t touch
-
You notice yourself repeating patterns you no longer desire
-
You feel unseen, even in the places where you’re most known
What you may begin to experience:
-
More space in your days, and more energy for what matters
-
A steadier sense of self, less performing, more belonging
-
Greater ease in your body, your choices, and your relationships
Sessions 1–3: Seeing Clearly
Acknowledging what is, and sensing what could be
We begin by making space for what’s been quietly present for a long time, the fatigue, the tension, the subtle sense that your life has been shaped around everyone else’s needs.
Through somatic practice and art-making, you’ll start to notice the patterns beneath the surface. The unspoken rules you learned early on. The roles you stepped into. The ways being needed became intertwined with being valued, and your perception of love.
Tour own experience — feeling it, naming it, and beginning to see it with clarity.
By the end of this phase, you can see yourself more honestly, have compassion for the need for the old patterns – and from that place, new choices begin to open.
Sessions 4–6: Returning to Yourself
Rebuilding the relationship within
From awareness, we begin to turn inward.
You’ll explore what it means to be in relationship with yourself, to notice your limits, your needs, and the subtle cues of your body. Boundaries start to take on a different shape here: not as something rigid, but as a way of staying connected to your own energy and truth.
You’ll begin to name what you actually need to feel grounded, supported, and at ease, and slowly, practice offering that to yourself.
By the end of session 6, the focus widens. You’ll start to recognize where in your life you can show up more fully, not perfectly, but honestly. Not without fear, but without abandoning yourself.
Sessions 7–9: No More Performing
Authenticity, play, and the capacity to receive
Here, we loosen the habit of managing how you’re perceived.
You’ll get curious about the parts of you that have been held back, the voice that says no, the instinct to step away, the desire to take up more space. Rather than something to override, discomfort becomes something you can listen to.
There’s also a return to what may have felt distant: play, pleasure, and ease. Not as something to earn, but as something essential to holding wellbeing .
This phase also opens the door to receiving support, care, and attention. Letting yourself be met, without needing to justify it. Beginning to trust that you don’t have to do everything alone.
Sessions 10–12: Your Own Authority
Self-trust, voice, and integration
In the final phase, we lean into trust, not as a concept, but as a lived experience.
You’ll practice turning toward your own knowing first. Listening inward before reaching outward. Honouring your experience as something valid and worthy of being followed.
Voice comes into focus here as something to allow. Taking up space, expressing yourself, in all the ways you show up and letting that be enough.
We close by gathering what you’ve reclaimed. Session twelve becomes a space of reflection and integration a way of naming what matters to you now, and how you desire to move forward from here.
You were conditioned to live as less.
