create & CONNECT

3 weeks in-person guided exploration of your own art practice.!

 Friday Mornings  •  10am - noon

September 16, 23 & 30th

Crackpot Studio, 301 Robinson St, Oakville

Would you like a class space where you can create and explore your own interests
with ease and non-judgement, and enjoy community?

Would you like to work on following your own creative instincts?

$96.00 + HST = $108.50  (all 3 sessions)

$32 + hst = $36.16   (1 session)

Bring your supplies and let's paint! In this 3 week class students explore a variety of offered themes. We will look at different ways to lead into your own art pieces. You will decide on your visual that evolves from the offered theme. Guidance is always available while you work on your pieces. This is an exploration of what you lean towards as an artist.

Guidance is provided in terms of overall theme, prompt, approach, challenge, or the introduction of a new medium, as students decide on the directions they wish to explore - for example the desire to explore with mixed media, or to explore the theme through landscape. Variety in expression within the group is encouraged.

You do not need to have any previous art experience - just the desire to create and connect. We will use movement, breath, and mindfulness as a way of grounding, from there we create our art.

GOOD TO KNOWS

This is about ease, creating, staying present, and allowing.

Above all else session environments will be a safe, non-judgemental space to explore, and express.

Grab a coffee, come and meet others in your community, and let's paint!

There will be stretching poses and a small meditation before we begin exploring and creating!

If you have questions feel free to email!
